Privacy policy

1. Data collected

We collect the data you voluntarily enter in the adoption and publishing forms: name, email, phone, locality, answers about adoption and information about the animal. For security, we may temporarily process the IP address and technical data of the request.

2. Purpose and legal basis

We use the data to moderate listings, connect people with associations or rescuers, manage publisher accounts, prevent abuse and operate the service safely. We publish the phone number only with explicit consent; email remains internal.

3. Social networks and Postiz

Approved public content may be sent to self-hosted Postiz and then to Facebook, Instagram or TikTok. OAuth tokens and social account identifiers are used only for the official pisi.cat pages. TikTok may provide the authorised account identifier, profile name and technical data needed for publishing and checking status. We do not sell this data and do not use it to profile visitors.

4. Artificial intelligence

Public editorial snippets and photos already approved for publication may be sent through our AI gateway for editorial selection, generating illustrations or animations. Private contact data is not included in editorial prompts.

5. Storage and recipients

Application data is hosted on infrastructure controlled by the operator. Technical providers receive only the data necessary for their service. We keep data for as long as needed for moderation, adoption, legal obligations and abuse prevention, then delete or anonymise it.

6. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection, and you can withdraw consent for displaying contact data. Use the contact page. You can also lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing.

7. Security and cookies

We use HTTPS connections, access control and request rate limiting. Traffic analytics uses GoatCounter without marketing cookies. Authentication and administration services may set cookies strictly necessary for operation and security.
