We educate before you choose
Most failed adoptions don't happen out of ill will, but from a lack of information at the right moment. That's why we write clear guides about what a cat actually means, about how to prepare a home, about the real reasons for return and about how to prevent each of them — before you fall in love with a photo, not after.
We connect, we don't decide for you
We don't rescue cats from the street, we don't sterilise them or find them a foster home — that's what the associations and the people we connect you with do. Our role is to help you reach them prepared: with the right questions, with a safe home already thought through and with a request that arrives, through the adoption form, directly to someone who can answer.
We bring together what is scattered
Today, a cat put up for adoption can appear on OLX, on the Facebook page of a small association, in a local group or just by word of mouth. Few people have time to search in ten different places. We aggregate existing public listings in one place, filterable and clear, and our own listings, sent directly by associations, go through moderation and receive a verification mark — so an adopter always knows what they're seeing.
Why «pisi.cat»
Because an easy-to-remember name doesn't have to be cold too. “Pisi” is the word almost every Romanian uses to call a cat without a name — warm, familiar, belonging to no one and everyone at once. The rest is simple: a person for every cat, a cat for every person.
